We have revised the logo for Innovv because of some comments made on Techmoan’s review on YouTube.

I created the word of INNOVV, it is from innovate, and I like it because it is simple and inspirit to innovate, to explore everyday. There was no intention to mislead or confuse it with another well known brand. But after seeing the above, the designer gave me the new design below in minutes and I approved it without any hesitation because it best presents what it will be.

I started to hear from people the design is close to Ienovo after people saw the logo on the product, but I did not care it so much because two logos have different letters and I like it so much till I saw the above comments that mentioned the copy.

I hate any copies include someone copied the C1. I don’t like the idea that people may think I tried to copy a brand name so below is the new logo.

The new logo is all capitals and bold, looks more trustable and people do not need to change case when typing. It keeps it simple.

BTW, it may be interesting to learn why I created the brand for my products, it was because of comments made by the founder of Ienovo. He mentioned in a speech that when he and others started to sell computers to customers, the competition was very hard, all computers from him and his competitors were same, the customers could not find the difference, so he created the brand and label on his computers, and spent a lot of effort on brand reputation building, in the end customers trusted the brand and he got successes in the last.

Ienovo is known worldwide, INNOVV is on the way to that goal. 

INNOVV Action Cam Shared and Rewarded

If the videos are interesting, funing, Nice or being pleasure to watch, they will be collected to the INNOVV Action Cam channel.

We encourage people to do so, because you can image how fantastic if you could watch the group of videos from the people like you who has the INNOVV action camera, INNOVV owners are grouped and be shared.

We know some people are likely to enjoy the sharing from others but lazy to share, this reward card is to encourage people to be active. A free 16GB SD card will be received once shared and collected!

INNOVV, Like it! Copy and Steal it?

From below posts on forum, People will agree how the guy likes INNOVV.

But more than that Like it, the guy copied INNOVV, sell it on the B2B website and take it to HK exhibition as the printing on the wall. 

I called the guy and he admitted they copied INNOVV, their business logic is Like it, Copy it and Steal it!! He told me building the copied molds is cheap, so they did! He is right, copy is always cheap!! They make cheap product with poor quality.

And I am surprised he never feels shame when I inquired why he is doing so, he told me "My brother, Never mind I did the copy, we could not do business together, why not we can be friend!", He comforted me that the copy may help INNOVV’s brand building and let people well known it, he encouraged me to appreciate his copy.

Some people may know him as he is the active member on DashCamTalk as below, I believe their customers and friends would be scared after learned they stole INNOVV and may others brazenly!

I had the blog DIMIKA and Mycrocam-Who copied Whom?, And mentioned how the copy in Shenzhen, I know the copy of INNOVV may happen, but still could not believe it is so fast! and brazenly!

For sure, He will read this blog, Do you think he feel shame and worry about his reputation? No, we are wrong, He cares nothing expect how fast to make money.


After read above, People can see how hard to create the new product and brand in China, always not easy! But I appreciate people's support and encourage as below. 

The end, I will let people know the new development has been working on, INNOVV still hold heads high! They copied the product, but could not copy the quality,  the brand's reputation, and the communication with people, people’s trust! 

INNOVV C1 & MOTOCRCYCLIST

People enjoy their own lifestyle, Bobflyman is happy with the moment in the sky, theWolfTamer pursues her motorcycling life, she said in her blog,

I was really been looking forward to this day for about three weeks.  Why?  Because I haven't ridden since February.  No little day trips and very few errands by bike.  It's partially because I was saving for the trip and partially because every time I get on the bike I'm way too tempted to just keep going.

I started to learn about motorcycling from theWolfTamer’s message, she mentioned how the C1 looks and works great, after See it, Touch it, Like it, she would Sell it to the fellows in motorcycle community. She advised me

The average motorcyclist wants simplicity. Point, shoot, and upload like the Gopro. A camera that handles different lighting conditions well, versatile mounting options, and superb value is exactly what is missing.

Before selling started, she tasted and enjoyed the ridding with the C1, shared how to have the C1 mounted as below photos, and the video.

When I first saw it, I was surprised how wonderful the mount works for the C1 and aware how important the mounts for motorcyclists, they always seek for the best fitting mounts, but not easy to get the perfect one, to the best support their need, the collection has been made as below and be available for shopping, and will keep to dig out the prefect fitting ones per people’s need.

When I am writing this blog, Largey gives me the update on the rain proof case on his motorcycle as below, He owns a Fatboylo Harley 2011 and a Yamaha FZ8 2010 also a Yamaha FZR 1800 2011 jetski, The last ride was he went to on the Harley was with 3000+ riders, it was a ride into parliament house to voice their opinion with some new rules in Queensland.

INNOVV C1 FLY IN THE SKY

Flying in the sky is amazing, but can be dangerous unless you are a bird, or have proper training! Bobflyman, otherwise

know as Bob Moore, has been paragliding for 12 years now. He’s flown in the UK, Europe and Australia and very much 

enjoys his view from the sky and it’s part of his life and his hobby. But he says you must be properly trained by a good 

paragliding school before taking to the skies.

Now the weather is beginning to improve in the UK, he finally had a chance to make some good flying with his INNOVV

C1. The video location is Maker Heights near Plymouth Sound in Cornwall. It is a South Devon Hang Gliding and Paragliding club site. The map shows where he flies, it’s a run of about 4kms from Cawsand to Mount Edgcumbe. near the City of Plymouth on the south coast of England.

 

He says flying on the coast is often safer than inland as the air is usually quite smooth and laminar. Inland, especially in summer, it can be thermic and possibly more turbulent. The danger of coastal flying is landing in the sea which could be fatal. But that would only happen if you made a big mistake?

He mounts the C1 on a small plastic bracket made from PVC which is on the chin of his full face helmet. This is safer for paragliding than mounting on top of the helmet which many GoPro users do. In paragliding there is risk of snagging lines on top of the helmet and there have been accidents caused by this. The Innovv is small and therefore easier and safer to mount!

The exploring in west of China

I usually like to holiday where I’ve been before, but sometimes new places are fresh and enjoyable. During this Chinese New Year Holiday, my family and I visited Sichuan province in the south west of China and I was reminded how much I love traditional Chinese culture, food and nature.

 

We stayed in a relative’s house in Chengdu city and the first two days we went across this city which has thousands of years of history. Unfortunately, my first impression was not the historical buildings, it was the crowds of people! We only could get peace from these in the famous parks where we found some quiet.

 

We found single traditional buildings and a small theater with the performances in the yard where people can sit in the yard or in tea houses that surrounded it, you can see it in the photo and video. I liked the solid wooden table and chairs, the painting on the wall that allow me drinking and watching The Face Change like people did hundreds of years before. The Face Change has been over hundreds of year, but only few persons can do now. The actor changed the paintings on his face in second and people are amazed.

 

Near this building I found a small calligraphy studio and was amazed by the calligrapher’s skill.  If you told him your name he could create words associated with it and write it down on paper. Everyone’s was different. He made one for me and it’s on my wall in the family home now.You also watch the video.

 

I believe people may know of the WenChuan earthquake in 2008, it is around two hundreds miles away from Chengdu, Over 60,000 died according to the government.  We visited one of the towns in Wenchuan and local people said the death toll was really double that figure. After our visit we felt the local people’s life has changed to be even happy than ever now. 

 

The town was re designed and built to best present its local traditional culture and people now no longer rely on farming on dead soil and grazing to generate poor income. They are happy to see more and more visitors to taste their local food and shopping for their handmade crafts. They are not so rich, but I can see the happiness and their satisfaction. The fresh air, clear water and the nature are things that city people in China really desire.

 

The photo below is the new primary school. It’s very nice, but over a thousand students died in destroyed houses and these lovely children will never come back.  It’s not easy for the parents and families' deliverance from the pain , but I really hope that such pain never comes back to these communities.

 

As you can see the videos and photos were taken by INNOVV C1. I would admit it is a very lovely pocket camera and I had it with me everyday. Smart and stylish and easy to use, though my poor photographic skills and lack of experience limited its best performance.  I hope with some more trips I can show even better results from INNOVV C1.

INNOVV C1&C2 Operation Instruction

We received emails from people asked how to upgrade FW and make the correct GUI setting, or missed up the key functions.

We understand people usually are tired to follow up the instruction addressed on the spec sheet on website against with camera on hand to get the right start up.

One photo can instead of million words, One video would be billion words. To get the job easier, with the support from Bobflyman, the short, simple instruction videos have been created.

Thanks to Techmoan for his review, that’s the best present he could make to the C1 & C2 to people. As he mentioned in his blog,

Below is a typical photo from his review while his fingers held the camera as he was testing. I was impressed how he detailed the features like motion detection, orientation sensor, and its operation with LED illumination, that it will be the live video user manual for users.
